Are you looking for an inspiring way to spend some free time? Meeting the artist and share some time meeting new people in a relaxed atmosphere and meanwhile learn how to paint in acrylics? The studio breathes an atmosphere of creativity has an inspiring effect on those who want to create some artwork of his own!

The painting lessons will start on thuesday april 7 2009.
The lessons will be given in small groups, and are held in the englisch and dutch language.
Each student will be given personal guidance in creating a work of art.
Experience is not nesecairy: beginners will get special attention in learning the basics of painting techniques. Handling acrylic paint, colors, how to deal with form,composition, plasticity. There are many ways to start a painting, first step is to get over what we call, "the fear of the white", not knowing where to start.
Technique: painting in acrylics:
How does one activate his imagination?
How does one get a result with acrylics similar to oil paint?
How does one construct dimensional imagery and create dept in a painting?
How does the image get meaning?
All this is of importance when creating a good painting.
You can work on a material of choice: paper, carton or canvas are options.
Around 5 to 10 persons each lesson.
Costs: 45 Euros each person ex. materials.
The lessons will be given each thuesday evening from 1900 till 2200

Painting Lessons, Workshops, Projects and Assignments
The POWERPAINTER Studio is a place with an inspiring atmosphere and specially suitable for artistic education. The Art Classes are for everybody, with or without experience. For individuals and School classes (in small groups).
Workshops for groups up to 20 persons are an option.
Art Projects for companies and outside: Mural paintings, Life painting on festivals and more...
Art assignments: Artistic viewpoint: only suitable to those assignments which are based on equal understanding of the concept, done in total agreement to both the client and the artist.

My you have one crazy page here!
I am a photographer that has documented a few intuitive artist environments.
I live in Chicago very close to the lake front that runs as a park, undeveloped by industry, etc. for probably 20 miles north and south of the downtown "loop."
Over the years, I have photographed paintings and engaved images on the huge rocks that make up some of the lakefront. There is lots of sand beach and natural park as well.
These rock painting are quite varied and mirror the values of the various demographic make-up over the years of teenagers, different cultural races that have moved to Chicago as well as political and social values.
These images need to be scanned and then perhaps I will post some of these.
If I every get to Europe for my dream 2 or 3 month trip, I will attempt to contact you and perhaps we can arrange to get together.
