- About Me:
- I'm an outsider/abstract/artist who also paints inside some of the time. I'm a widow as of 8/17/06 - feels strange after 27 yrs. It's still hard for me to click single.
Also a bit strange, but not strange enough to be told I'm strange by people I meet. My kids, however, know how strange I am. For example, the other day I took this really heavy duty hair gel and put the top of my hair in a Mohawk style and flattened the sides and back and put a short French braid in the back. I wore that all day, inside the house of course, but when my daughter came home from work, I asked her if she wanted to go to the store with me. Her eyes widened and said, "not like that!!!" I had to wash it out first. So there ya have it.

The week is going too too fast!

Monday already?
Background: Horror Movie "The Haunting"
To Do List: Wash Dishes! UGH!
Yesterday went by too fast. I woke up early, checked my email and then went to the Regional Fair to submit 3 paintings for judging in the Fine Arts group. A lot of people were there, a lot of art. They judged this AM but the fair doesn't open for another hour or so. I want to see if I won anything. Not much money involved, but recognition and exposure.

I woke up today at 2 p.m. and felt like something the cat dragged in. I think I have the beginnings of a cold.
My throat is scratchy, my sinuses feel stopped up and I am so very tired.
I had a bite to eat, a diet coke and now I'm going back to bed with a good novel by Stuart Woods and my bottle of Astelin nasal spray.

A great day!

Today is Friday 9/9 at 11:34 p.m. I had a wonderful day today. My son and his girl paid me a surprise visit and we went shopping at the Outlet Mall.
We had lunch at a brand new Mexican Restaurant with authentic Mexican food, just like when I was in Mexico. Delicioso!
