I am a work hermit,I live for the art whether it be painting, cartooning, writing, creating sound sculptures or tattooing. It's not about fame, fortune or even acceptance of the work.None of those apply to my creative process.I do what I do because I have to,it is what keeps me somewhat sane and alive and gives my life purpose and meaning.
Any artist who truly follows his or her own unique vision.

Do you consider yourself an Outsider Artist? If so why? Whynot?
Absolutely an outsider for many reasons not the least of which is the fact that I have no patience for the bullshit associated with much of the mainstream art world.I don't create my art as an exploration of some lofty aesthetic ideals,I create work that I hope the average man/woman can connect with on a purely raw emotional level regardless of whether or not they know anything about art so to speak.I let chaos and order run wild in my work and sometimes the stories that come out of that mix are about subjects that many galleries don't want to deal with.Does that limit my exposure and/or acceptance into the mainstream?Sure.Do I care? No.Does that make me an outsider? What do you think?
