I'me not sure I've understand the way, the site is working...
so, I'me going to answer the question about arts et talents over there, I hope, that's the right place...
So, as I told you arts et talent is a french american association created and managed by Sandrine Joseph.
Each month, Sandrine organize a reception where we invite a painter or a photograph to exhib his work, and in front of people he presents his work.
Most of american people who come there are american who are living in France (and some time, we have american tourists who come) That's why the website is in French. http://www.arts-et-talents.com/
It's a good thing that Sandrine put this video on dailymotion... except that I can't hear what the two ladies are saying : they speak too slowly !
Anyway, I'lle ask Sandrine for more explication.
So Marcus, you know the Lot... My father is from Fontanes du Causse (close to Gramat and Rocamadour) and now they are in retirement and live there ! so I perfectly know this region !
Welcome to The United States of Outsider Artists,
I am the guy you see on the webcam on the frontpage now and then,
I watched the video clip of the French American association and got a bit curious about it.
Because one of our goals is to bridge the World of Art we are interested in forming bonds with other organisations; therefore we would like to hear more of you and I would like to ask you to give us some more information about this organisation, "Arts et Talents".
Do they have a website we can promote down here?
Well,we certainly hope to hear more of you and also that you will start a weblog about you, your work and other cultural events to be seen at the American side of the Ocean!
I tell you little about myself: My real name is Marcus van Soest and I am also known as "POWERPAINTER" , "Weaver of Webs" and Fnurkus ARTvark, Lover of the Bizarre.
I live and work in the City of The Hague in the Netherlands.
I was asked by Crazy Ass Artist Joyce to become moderator of this American platform. Here you find info about me and my works: http://powerpainter.exto.nl and on http://powerpainter.org which used to be an trans-continental artists for artists platform with the main goal to promote Art and Artists and to be a place for creative experiment.
I decided to stop the database for a while and you can read why on that web page.
I speak and understand French perfectly well because i lived and worked there for a while...
Here we speak the English language to be understood by all!
Well I make an exception only for this time:
I have no cedille or accents at my keyboard, excuse moi..)
