Blossoms
When I enjoy
the delicate blossoms
at the river’s edge,
I am dismayed
That in a fortnight
The beautiful petals
shall fall to the ground
and be forgotten.

Lazy River
Crimson and tangerine,
Indian paintbrush.
God’s little sensations
Delight to the eye.
Daylight fades flora sleep
Cool evening breezes
