I cut out beer, wine - you know I love those. And I ate mostly broccoli and protein shakes yesterday. You're proud of me right?

But in my mind I am getting on a plane and flying to the Netherlands and having beers with Power Painter. Then we paint. Such a nice dream :)

What to chat about?

Well, I am taking a break from editing a video project.....and I was thinking about the special blend of awkwardness and excitement when doing something that is still new. As in using new media and modes of expression.....

I was surprised at what I had to overcome (in terms of my own selective perfectionism) in order to share my first couple of video projects. Eventually, I got over it and put them out for others to see--- for better or worse it is done.

Now I am doing another one that is in some ways closer to my heart but considerably more abstract....I had been quite preoccupied with the mixed media painting, followed by a poem that set this piece in motion and from the start I new that video is where it was heading.

I had mixed the whole thing and now have decided that the transition from one music track to another is not quite right so after my tea I must fix that.
When it is done I would like to share it here.
